Providing a supportive space for socially isolated older adults 60 and older to build meaningful connections and rediscover a sense of belonging through free virtual and in-person events and outings.
The Older Adult Social Club (OASC) provides behavioral health support for socially isolated older adults who are experiencing loneliness. The program fills a critical gap for older adults who lack meaningful connections to their community by offering group-based therapeutic services, health and wellness programming, and opportunities for community integration.
Grounded in the Social-Ecological Model (SEM) and evidence-informed group therapy approaches, the program focuses on building trust, strengthening social connections, and improving emotional well-being and quality of life.
