Providing behavioral health and onsite support services to assist tenants at the Richardson and Rene Cazenave Apartments maintain housing stability and improve access to resources.
Felton Institute’s Clinical Housing Support Program (CHSP) offers a wide range of support services. These include individual and group behavioral health counseling, case management, primary care nursing case management, medication monitoring, and referrals to primary medical care. Additional services encompass substance abuse and psychiatric treatment, benefit counseling, and client advocacy. The program also features meal programs, health education, community building, tenant organizing, and various other case management functions.
Our team is committed to implementing evidence-based practices and behavioral health research within its community-based mental health services.
All tenants are formerly homeless adults and older adults with co-occurring mental health, substance abuse, and medical problems, and limited experience living independently.
Our wraparound mental health treatment is provided to residents.
We provide:

- Substance use disorder intervention
- Supportive housing
- Peer support
To be eligible for the Clinical Housing Support Program, prospective clients must live in the Richardson or Rene Cazenave Apartments (RCA).
