We provide holistic, recovery-oriented behavioral health and support services to adults 18+ in Solano County who have Medi-Cal and meet Medi-Cal Specialty Mental Health Services criteria.
Felton Outpatient Services Solano (FOSS) is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, medical providers, case managers, and peer support specialists.
Program services are delivered promptly and in a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and co-occurring capable manner. They are person-centered, allowing clients to choose options that best fit their needs.
The FOSS program serves individuals aged 18 and older who have Solano County Medi-Cal, are underinsured or uninsured, and meet Medi-Cal Specialty Mental Health (SMHS) criteria as determined by CalAIM screening and transition tools.
The following services are offered:
- Outpatient case management (office or community-based)
- Individual and group therapy
- Case management
- Nursing, medical, and medication support
- Psychiatry
- Support groups
- Crisis triage
- Peer support and wellness planning
- Social and community support activities
- Additional holistic, recovery-oriented services as needed
Clients must be referred and/or authorized by Solano County’s designated authority.
Solano County ACCESS will conduct an intake assessment to determine medical necessity for SMHS (Medi-Cal Specialty Mental Health Services). Individuals interested in services can call the Solano County ACCESS Line at 1 (800) 547-0495.
If individuals call Felton Institute, we will assist them in linking to the Solano County ACCESS Line to schedule an intake assessment.
