Nita serves as Director of Development for Felton Institute. Her career has been focused on being an unparalleled practitioner in enabling communities for social good.
Nita Kirby
Nita has worked for one of the largest non-profits in the U.S., providing extensive support for corporate and foundation charitable programs and raising millions of funding for local communities. This experience led to 18+ years of overseeing program development and philanthropic practices with Fortune 50 companies.
With a BS in Business Administration and vast experience in program development and administrative protocol, Nita is a Lean Six Sigma certified Green Belt, which gives her expanded insight into how processes affect outcomes. In her spare time, she is the Board Chair of Civicorps, a leading TAY (Transitional Age Youth) workforce development agency in environmental stewardship. She also volunteers with the East Bay SPCA, sharing her love for animals.
