Michelle O. Clark, M.D., DLFAPA

Dr. Michelle Clark is a senior psychiatrist with over 45 years of experience across a broad range of practice modalities. She began her tenure at Felton Institute as a member of the board of directors prior to her current position as the Medical Director for the Justice Services Division.

 A multiple award-winning scholar, Dr. Michelle Clark is also the author of numerous articles and book chapters. She has lectured in programs and at conferences around the globe. She is a former faculty member at the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science and University of California San Francisco (UCSF), School of Medicine where she achieved the status of Associate Clinical Professor III.

Dr. Clark has extensive expertise in cross-cultural psychiatry, particularly with populations of African descent with a focus on forensic psychiatry.  She is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (DLFAPA), the highest membership status in the organization.
