Daniel Costello
Daniel Costello has served on the Felton Institute Board of Directors since September 2021 and currently chairs the Program Committee.
He brings more than 40 years of experience in insurance brokerage and risk management, specializing in nonprofit organizations through his work with Arthur J. Gallagher and Farallone Pacific.
Daniel’s commitment to community service and social justice is reflected in his leadership at Felton, where he champions initiatives that promote dignity, opportunity, and systemic change.
In addition to his work at Felton, Daniel actively volunteers with nonprofit organizations across Marin County. He supports individuals experiencing hardship through St. Vincent de Paul and provides tutoring and coaching to incarcerated individuals at San Quentin State Prison through Free To Succeed. He believes in the philosophy that giving enriches the giver’s life, describing his volunteer work as deeply rewarding.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Francisco State University, an MBA from Golden Gate University, and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University of California.
Outside of his professional and volunteer commitments, Daniel enjoys hiking, biking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and three daughters.
